This property has been in our family since the 1850s. That alone is reason to cherish and value every part of this place. With over a century worth of stories to tell, I’ll have to summarize, and just share the story of the David Hill family. 

The David Hill family took sole responsibility of this property in 2015, with the hopes of simply continuing the tradition of bringing family, friends, and others together. 

This oasis offers peace, solitude, and the opportunity for people to congregate and have fellowship. We’ve spent many holidays and miscellaneous weekends here as a family, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. When we aren’t here, we enjoy having other families, church groups, and various organizations use this place as a retreat. The Whippoorwill Valley Farms are rarely not occupied!

The opportunity to share this place with other people fills us with so much joy. We feel it was meant to be used for fellowship and to bring people together. It’s a labor of love, and it’s been that way for 170 years. We look forward to having you as our guest at the Whippoorwill Valley Farms.
